The hotel is quiet and wonderful with nice personnel on reception desk. The venue is in a marvellous and fab position and the airport is 15 km away. Great nearby places include Flambo Burgers and Bar, we usually had drinks there. Every time we stay in New Orleans, like to stay here

Convenient location in a peaceful area with a short walk to Bourbon and Frenchmen Street. Nearby restaurants and easy access to cleaning services. the breakfast here is amazing with delicious food to start the day right! 🍳

The hotel was set in a central area near to so many landmarks, all the wonderful cafes nearby including Cafe du monde being within walking distance, and the French Quarter on Chartres St Near to the French Market, Streetcar & Bourbon Street. Wonderful breakfast, thoroughly enjoyed the place where it was.

The rooms here are newly renovated, spacious, with a seating area, a balcony, and an iron provided, the staff is welcoming and helpful.

This was my first trip to nola in twenty years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were quaint and very, very clean. The weather was very hot and humid, but the a/c worked great. The staff was very friendly and the gentleman behind the front desk referred to me by name every time he saw me. Also, the location is perfect for the French Quarter, two blocks from Bourbon Street and two blocks from the French Market. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel was old and very beautiful. I loved the location with walkingdistance to "everything". It was very quiet an peaceful at night. Nice swimmingpool. The room was a lovely, big flat with a big refridgerater, a lovely big bed, nice livingroom, plenty og space. The staff at the frontdesk was vey helpful and friendly. A big, free guarded carpark.

I missed the possipility to make tea and coffee in the room. We had some problems with the toilet witch was not very nice. It took too long to get it fixed though we told the staff several times.

Great Location! the room is nicely decorated and clean, featuring a lovely balcony to relax on. 🌟 If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back here.

Great location, close to The French Market, a few blocks from Jackson Square and the locals scene on Frenchmen Street. Quiet, comfortable and parking is available.

The hotel was really charming. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. A group of 10 stayed at the hotel and everyone came away with a good feeling....we will stay at the Richelieu again and also recommend it to others. Actually I did. A women walking in front of the hotel asked me how my stay went since she was thinking about staying there in June. Told her I enjoyed my stay and the Richelieu is a great choice. By the way it is not haunted....i checked it out!

The room was quiet and welcoming with convenient amenities like an iron and a closet space.

The easy access off I-10 to a complimentary parking lot behind the hotel was a bonus. We were able to walk to everything and never moved the car until it was time to depart. The safe location made it nice to be out after dark and not feel threatened.

location of the hotel was awesome. very close to everything! also nice to have free parking at the hotel.

the free wi-fi did not work throughout the hotel. the rooms and hallways smelled a bit old and musty.

The room was spacious and had great views. the bed was very comfortable. the staff were friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to the maid service. the location was wonderful, with plenty of live music venues nearby. Plus, the airport was only 0.5 miles away.
